How to Clean Copper Pans and pots in 60 seconds

Copper pots and pans can instantly add a vintage feel and bring back the old world charm to your kitchen. But on the downside of it, copper pots and pans are very difficult to clean and maintain. Apart from some industrial cleaners, there are a bunch of natural remedies which work wonderfully to get rid of the tarnish formed over your copper pots and pans.
 People use ketchup, lemon, vinegar, etc. to clean up their tarnished copper utensils. But there is one method which works magically, cleaning the tarnished copper in under a minute. All you need is table salt, white wine vinegar and a scrubbing sponge.

  • Put the pan or pot in the sink and sprinkle salt all over it until it is coated with salt.
  • Now pour white wine vinegar over the salt coated utensil and more salt on top.
  • Leave it as it is for 15-20 minutes. The products will start working by then
  • Now take your scrubbing sponge, pour some more vinegar on it and start scrubbing the pan.
  • Add salt to the sides of the pan as well and rub on the sides as well.
  • Now rinse the copper pan with plain water and wipe off the excess water with a clean cotton cloth.
  • Put the pan aside and allow it to dry completely and voila, your pan is as good as a new one.
